The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Unit at Paideia International Hospital in Rome carries out bothin-patientandout-patientservices.
In in-patientsettings, physiotherapists, in collaboration with other specialists, help prepare the patient for surgery and/or minimise post-operative complications and thus promote faster functional recovery.

For outpatient services, highly-specialised physiotherapists meet the patient’s needs to restore and improve motor and cardio-respiratory functions or reduce painful symptoms of the locomotor system using therapeutic exercises, with the aid of manual and/or instrumental treatments. Patients are followed with various rehabilitation approaches in both the acute and chronic phases.
Alongside traditional treatments, the very latest methods are implemented in order to allow the patient the best possible recovery of temporarily lost functions.

GERIATRIC REHABILITATION
Geriatric rehabilitation aims to recover, maintain and increase the functional autonomy of the elderly, where it has been lost due to musculoskeletal or neurological pathologies or as a result of the normal ageing process, in order to ensure the highest level of independence and pain relief.
PAEDIATRIC REHABILITATION
Paediatric rehabilitation follows diagnosis and complete functional assessment to treat the main developmental orthopaedic and neurological disorders (scoliosis, flat foot, CP etc.).
SPORTS REHABILITATION
Specialised in diagnosing and treating musculotendinous and osteoarticular injuries in sports, from trauma to overtraining syndromes, providing a rehabilitation programme that follows the athlete from early stages of injury to return to the field.
POST-COVID REHABILITATION
Post-Covid treatment is aimed at all patients who, after SARS-CoV-2 infection, still experience breathlessness, difficulty walking, muscle pain, dizziness, asthenia, cognitive deficits, anxiety and depression.
